Ryan Tedder(lead vocalist of OneRepublic): "The song is not providing the solution; it’s just basically the anthem for those people. And so for me that alone is the therapy; it’s hearing the song and being like: ’oh my god, this is me!’ ’I’m not alone in this.’ And that alone makes you feel better."

歌曲沒有要給出一個解決方法，它其實就是他們的聖歌。眾人共有的「孤獨」成為一個療法：聽見歌曲時驚呼「天啊～這不就是在說我嗎」「我不是唯一一個經歷這些的人」。而這樣的「孤獨」讓你感覺好點了。
